Police book youth for beating street dog

Piplani police have booked a youth living in Riddhi-Siddhi Colony located in Piplani area for attacking a street dog sitting in the premises of the house, with a rod.

The incident has been captured on CCTV. After this, the police have registered an FIR on the complaint of the animal lover. The accused youth could not be arrested.

According to the police, Swati Gaurav is an officer of an organization named People for Animals. Her organization works for animals and street dogs. She told the police that she had received a video through social media.

In which the youth was seen beating a street dog with a rod. On verification, the video was found to be of Riddhi-Sidhi Colony of Piplani. The person seen beating in the video has been identified as Rajesh Yadav.

A street dog roaming in the colony started sitting in the courtyard of the accused's house every day to avoid the sun. Seeing this, the accused beat a dog sitting in the courtyard with a rod.
