300 plants of different varieties were planted in the main campus of AISECT University, Hazaribagh at Taraba-Kharba. In fact, under the National Service Scheme of the Government of India, Van Mahotsav Week was celebrated from 1st to 7th July across the country. Under this, in the month of July, with the aim of spreading awareness about forest conservation and saving the environment, under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign program, under the banner of NSS unit of AISECT University, Hera Fatima, Tanishka Kumari, Pooja Kumari, Ashutosh Kumar Dubey of NSS Unit-1 of the University, including students of the Agriculture Faculty, played an important role in planting trees. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. PK Nayak said that trees and plants are our life savers. Also, abundance of trees and plants helps in keeping human life healthy. On the other hand, the university's registrar Dr. Munish Govind said that the way luxury life has harmed the environment, if it is not taken care of in time, then the entire human community can face a deep crisis. Untimely rains, high temperatures are some such signs, which are alerting us. In such a situation, the most important thing is plantation. Along with this, complete care is also necessary till it becomes a tree. He said that awareness is also important. Awareness is also being spread through street plays in the surrounding areas through the NSS unit of the university. NSS officer Dr. Rojikant said that a tree really plays the role of a mother. The program Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam is not only awareness but also a feeling, which connects the common man directly to nature. NSS officer Dr. Preeti Vyas also made people aware of the importance of trees. On this occasion, along with the students of NSS Unit One, students of the Agriculture Department were also present.
