Piramal Foundation conducted awareness programs in various villages of Kanke and Ormanjhi blocks to celebrate Environment Day. Gandhi Fellows—Vikas Kumar, Sujoy Das, Priyanka Yadav, Pragya Gargi, and Adarsh Jain—organized these events under the leadership of Program Leader Kriti and Senior Program Leader Vijesh Kumar, Collaborating with the Ministry of Jal Shakti, the School of Climate and Sustainability team aims to optimize water use in these villages. From June 1-3, over 18 programs with 48 activities were held, involving over 1,200 participants. Activities included making bird feeders from plastic bottles, soil testing, debates, environmental drawings, rallies, and more, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.
