Students from Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR) in Indore, Ocean Jain, Pratham Mishra, and Dev Soni, secured the second rank in a nationwide research competition hosted by IIT Indore for their proposal, "AI for Stormwater Management in India."
The students have attributed their success to Professor Nitin Girdharwal's mentorship, highlighting his crucial role in guiding them, especially in utilizing AI technology to tackle the pressing problem of stormwater management in India. The competition, hosted by IIT Indore, aimed to promote creative thinking among students in the engineering and management fields. Davish Jain, Chairman of Prestige Education Foundation, Indore, praised the students' achievement, highlighting the importance of incorporating advanced technologies such as AI to address real-world challenges.
He commended Dr. Nitin Girdharwal and the entire team for their outstanding accomplishment.
Director, PIMR (UG campus), Col (Dr.) SR Iyer also lauded the student team and their mentor for their dedicated efforts in shaping their research over the past three months.
