Students of the Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research, achieving technical proficiency in Google Cloud and cloud computing studies, were felicitated at a function organized by the Department of Computer Science, Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research. Under the guidance of Dr. Yakuta Tayyabi and Piyush Choudhary, HOD, Department of Computer Science, as many as 60 students of the institute gained proficiency in cloud computing skills through Google's courses under the JAM Course Google Developer Student Club.
Addressing the students, Dr. Manoj Kumar Deshpande, Senior Director of the Institute, said that proficiency in technical skills like Google Cloud and cloud computing not only enhances the ability of the students but also proves helpful in their placement.
On this occasion, debate and extempore competitions were organized to enhance the communication skills of the students. The best-performing students were awarded by Deshpande, along with jury members Vibha Atre and Sunakshi Tongia respectively.
