The daughter of the Block Development Officer of the remote Naxal-affected Pesharar block of the district committed suicide by hanging herself in the government quarter. This incident has spread sensation in the entire area. Information about the incident was given to Pesharar police station. After this, the police took the body into custody and sent it to Lohardaga Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The police have started investigating the entire matter and taking further action. People are surprised as to why the Block Development Officer's daughter took such a big step. Tamanna Jharna Tirkey (18 years), daughter of Block Development Officer Ajay Kumar Tirkey of Pesharar block, has committed suicide. The incident is said to have happened late Saturday evening. After returning to his quarters late on Saturday night, the Block Development Officer came to know about this incident. After which he informed the matter to Pesharar police station. After receiving the information, Pesharar police station reached the spot and took the body in its custody and sent it to Lohardaga Sadar for post-mortem. Sent to hospital.
After receiving information about the incident, many administrative officials including the sub-divisional officer reached Sadar Hospital. Due to it being a remote Naxal affected area, people came to know about it on Sunday. According to local people, Tamanna Jharna Tirkey had appeared for the intermediate examination. Tamanna had gone to her village for someone's wedding. From where she had returned only two days ago. Meanwhile, late on Saturday evening he took this step. Police have also recovered a suicide note from the incident site. However, at present this has not been confirmed at any level. The reasons for suicide have not been revealed. The police is busy investigating the entire matter and further legal process. In this matter, Kisko Circle Inspector Chandrashekhar Azad says that the police is investigating the matter. Any conclusion can be reached only after investigation. Prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide.
