PARIVARTAN YATRA | Marandi, Munda highlight JMM-Cong Govt failures

Wednesday, 02 October 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

On the eve of conclusion of BJP’s Parivartan yatra in State, BJP leadership addressed a series of rallies across the State. State President Babulal Marandi was present at BJP's Parivartan Sabha in Chaibasa of Kolhan division on Tuesday. Addressing the gathering, he said that the elections are near, change is about to happen. The coalition government of the state has only looted the people of the state in the last five years. The JMM Congress government has only filled its coffers with the forests, stones and sand of Jharkhand. They have only looted by manipulating the land in the state.

He said that the Hemant government earned so much money that a mountain of Rs 350 crore was found from the house of its leaders. A bundle of Rs 35 crore has been recovered from the house of a servant of the leaders of the coalition government. The state government has only looted this state for the last five years. He appealed that we have to change this looting JMM and Congress government of the state.

Babulal Marandi said on the coalition government's breach of promise that when the elections were held in 2019, Hemant Soren had said that when our government is formed, we will give 72 thousand rupees annually to the poor. This promise was made by Hemant Soren, not BJP. He had said that women will be given 2 thousand rupees for cooking expenses, but what did they get? If Hemant Soren had given this 2 thousand rupees, today women would have had 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees, but no one got anything.

He further said that the coalition government had promised to give a pension of Rs 2500 to the elderly, widows and disabled. If this money had been given, it would have become 1.5 lakh rupees in 5 years, but the JMM-Congress government has cheated the elderly, poor, youth and widowed women of the state. Hemant Soren himself had promised that he would give gold coins to girls for marriage. Forget about gold coins, no one even got a silver coin.

Former Union Minister Arjun Munda also participated in the closing ceremony of BJP's Parivartan Sabha organized in Chaibasa of Kolhan division. During this, he said that we live in a state and we are citizens of India. We are residents of India. Arjun Munda further said that many heroes sacrificed their lives for the creation and independence of this country. Jharkhand and Kolhan have a glorious history of Lord Birsa Munda. This state also has a history of Nilambar Pitambar. There is a long history of people who sacrificed their lives for the creation of Jharkhand. Many generations have spent their lives in building this state. He said that before the formation of Jharkhand, many people have taken political advantage of it. Today I bow to the land of Kolhan. This land of Kolhan is the one from where the British left, but after this the rule of Congress came to the country.

"Further he said that the people and heroes of Kolhan started a movement for the creation of Jharkhand. But at that time Congress was in power, then more than 11 tribals in Goa had to fall prey to the bullets of Congress. At that time the Tiruldih firing incident happened. At that time many agitators made sacrifices and dreamt of creating Jharkhand state. But today the same Congress and JMM together are hell bent on ruining Jharkhand by playing behind the scenes.
