BJP state president and Khajuraho MP Vishnudutt Sharma on Thursday felicitated teachers and professors on joining the party in a program organized by District Bhopal at the state office on Teachers' Day.

Sharma, while congratulating the teachers who joined the party, said that the organisation festival is not just for increasing numbers or gaining power. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make the country a developed India by 2047 and by joining BJP, teachers have to prepare the generation that will lead the country at that time, because the children they are teaching today will lead the country in 2047.

A large number of teachers took membership through the referral code of BJP state president Vishnudutt Sharma. District president Sumit Pachauri also addressed the program.BJP state president and MP Vishnudutt Sharma, while welcoming the teachers, said that after parents, only teachers work to give direction to the child's life. Teachers build personality and give direction to the society. Sharing his experiences with the teachers, Sharma told how his mother taught him the lesson of harmony and how his teacher gave him the necessary confidence to speak from the stage.

Sharma said that even though times have changed, the role of a teacher has not changed. Teachers are still respected and children listen to them. Teachers can guide children and show them the right direction.

BJP State President and MP Sharma said that when a king becomes autocratic, the teacher also has the power to bring him on the right path, just as Chanakya ended the autocratic rule of Ghanananda by molding Emperor Chandragupta. He said that the governments of the Bharatiya Janata Party are working for social change.

Schemes like Ladli Laxmi implemented in Madhya Pradesh for the protection and empowerment of daughters are examples of this, due to which there has been a significant change in the sex ratio in the state. Teachers can also play an important role in such social welfare campaigns.

Sharma said that even today many people in the society are spreading confusion through lies, deceit and fraud, and are trying to divide the society. Teachers can spread the ideas of BJP through their contacts in the society and can answer those who spread confusion. On this occasion, District General Secretary Ravindra Yati, Municipal Corporation President Mr. Kishan Suryavanshi, Mr. Jagdish Yadav, Mr. Rahul Rajput and officials of the District and Teachers' Cell were present.
