In a bare 10 days the civil court Daltonganj Palamu declared the list of the selected 155 candidates for para legal volunteers.
It has kept ready with it a waiting panel for 10 more in the event any of the selected 155 just declines to join as PLV.
The last date for filing the application for the PLVs was September 13. Results were published on the civil court's official website on September 23.
Court sources said the principal district and sessions judge Niraj Kumar Srivastav who is the chairman of the DLSA activated his DLSA team to get it done and the DLSA came to the expectation.
There had come 2064 applications for the 155 PLVs and scrutiny and interview of it were a gigantic task which was performed with clinical precision and transparency.
The interview went on from September 19 to 21.
The selected 155 are to report to the office of the DLSA on Wednesday 25 when they begin a 5 day training for them informed the secretary DLSA Arpit Shrivastava.
"We are working on the panel for the trainers. It will be of senior PLVs who will share their experiences and give tips on how to work." added the secretary.
"Depending on the availability of civil officials especially on the revenue side and police officials, the selected ones will stand a chance to interact with them too" said the secretary.
Secretary said as it's election time executive officials may find a time crunch to participates in imparting the training to the newly selected 155.
Shrivastava said 67 panchayats will have 1 each PLV besides 1 each at 26 police stations along with 2 railway police stations in Palamu.
5 police stations are already having 1 each PLV.
He said under the directives of JHALSA we are to place 1PLV here in each of the 21 blocks of Palamu.
Court sources said there appears to be none from the PVTG (particularly vulnerable tribal group) in the selected 155.
Court sources said it's just possible that PVTG (Particularly vulnerable tribal group) eligibles might not have bothered to be a PLV. The PVTG remains aloof from court as they have their own system to resolve disputes.
Court sources said the DLSA here tries hard to make its outreach in all sections of the civil society. It has very recently conducted medico legal awareness camp too.
Secretary DLSA said all care and caution have been taken to incorporate men and women coming from different sections.
Arpit Shrivastva clarified that there is no reservation roster for it nor being a PLV means to be in court's employment.
