A total of 66,68,035 beneficiaries have submitted applications for renewal of their ration cards as of Saturday, an official communiqué said.
As part of the public distribution system, the work of renewing 77 lakh ration cards began on January 25 and will conclude on February 25.
Renewal applications can be filed through the Food Department’s app or website, http://khadya.cg.nic.in/.
Beneficiaries unable to use the online tools can file applications through fair price shops.
Beneficiaries are utilizing the online tool for ration card renewal to the fullest extent possible, the communiqué said.
