No one will remain devoid of Govt scheme benefits: CM

Wednesday, 28 August 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

The enthusiasm and happiness seen among women across the state regarding Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana is amazing. Your enthusiasm gives us the strength to fight every problem and challenge. With your hopes and trust, we are constantly moving forward, fighting every challenge boldly,” said Chief Minister Hemant Soren while addressing the Santhal Pargana division level program of JMMSY at Panjanpahadi in Jama block of Dumka district on Tuesday.

The CM said that the state will progress only if it strengthens and empowers half the population. Participation of women is necessary for the development of the state in every situation. This is the reason why our government is committed to empowering half the population. Our government is working to bring smiles on the faces of women through various schemes. The CM said that 4 years ago, there were many villages where people had never even seen the block office. They did not even have any information about the DC-SP office. Today the entire government is reaching their doorsteps. There are villages where there is no way to go. Where there is no facility of transportation, today BDO-CO, DC-SP and secretaries of departments are reaching there and not only listening to your problems but also solving them. The problems whose solution is not possible immediately, information about them is being sent to the government so that concrete steps can be taken in that direction. We are working with the thought that no one should be deprived of the government schemes.

The CM said that the state cannot become strong without strengthening the villages. This is the reason why our government is running from villages instead of Ranchi headquarters. Under the program "Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar" the work of connecting the last person of the society with the government schemes was done by organizing camps in every village and hamlet. This program will continue continuously. Our effort is to solve your every problem.

The CM said that the government has come up with many schemes to make the farmers economically strong. Especially the kind of change in the weather that is being seen today, farmers need to come forward for alternative agriculture apart from traditional farming. He said that there are many schemes like Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, Didi Bari Yojana and Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana, by which farmers can increase their income.

The CM said that in the last four and a half years, the work done by our government for every section of this state including tribals, natives, Dalits, backward, minorities, farmers, labourers, old people, women and youth, has created a new dimension of development. Today, no old person in the state is deprived of pension. Loans up to two lakh rupees of farmers have been waived. Utkrisht Vidyalayas have been opened so that children get better education. So that the children here move forward by getting education, they are being given financial support under Guruji Credit Card Yojana.

To ensure that the education of girls is not left due to financial crisis, they have been linked with Savitribai Kishori Samridhi Yojana. There are many such schemes which are paving the way for the people of the state to move forward.

Today, in the Santhal Pargana division level program, the CM took another strong step towards women empowerment by transferring 73 crore 29 lakh 6 thousand rupees as honorarium through DBT to the accounts of 7 lakh 32 thousand 906 beneficiaries. These include 1 lakh 58 thousand 724 sisters and daughters of Dumka, 50 thousand 152 of Deoghar district, 1 lakh 20 thousand 78 of Sahibganj district, 1 lakh 58 thousand 289 of Godda district, 1 lakh 20 thousand 110 of Pakur district and 1 lakh 25 thousand 543 sisters and daughters of Jamtara district.

In the program, Ministers Satyanand Bhokta, Baby Devi, Hafizul Hasan, Deepika Pandey, Irfan Ansari, MP Nalin Soren, MLAs Pradeep Yadav, Basant Soren, Badal, William Marandi, Kalpana Soren, District Council Chairperson Joyce Besra, Divisional Commissioner Lal Chand Dadel and Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of the districts falling under Santhal Pargana Division along with other officials were present.
