The Madhya Pradesh unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will move into its new office in the state capital on Saturday. The premises, located near the Subhash Nagar railway crossing, will be inaugurated by the party's provincial chief, Rani Agarwal.
A Sarv Dharm Prarthna Sabha (an inclusive prayer meeting involving various communities) will mark the inauguration, which will conclude with the state president interacting with media persons.
Agarwal will also interact with party leaders from various regions and divisions who will be in the state capital to attend the proceedings, informed Bhupender Sharma, the media in-charge of the party.The state party unit president will also hold discussions with leaders from various wings working under her charge. Several district presidents will be present on the occasion.Since its arrival on the political scene in Madhya Pradesh, AAP has attempted to provide a viable alternative to both the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the main opposition, Congress. However, the party's electoral forays have yet to meet with any substantial success.
