Vijay Shankar Nayak, National General Secretary, Jharkhand Incharge of Sampoorna Bharat Kranti Party, has written a letter to the Chief Minister and Statthe outstanding amount of crores of rupees for the last 6 months under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, all the private hospitals of the state have refused to treat poor patients. 

The beneficiaries of this scheme are facing difficulties in getting treatment in government hospitals, due to which at present these poor patients are not getting any kind of service under Ayushman Card. Many hospitals have duly pasted information on their notice boards that at present the treatment facility for Ayushman card holders is closed.

Nayak said that many hospital operators have also informed in this context that about Rs 100 crore of private hospitals are stuck under the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the entire state. It is proving difficult for them to serve the patients by stopping the salary payment of doctors and staff. There is also a huge expenditure every day in the operation of medical equipment, in such a situation the hospital management is facing a huge crisis. 

At present, even in government hospitals, poor patients holding Ayushman cards are facing huge problems.

The state's largest hospital RIMS has an outstanding amount of about Rs 10 crore under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which is a matter of concern.

Nayak has requested the Chief Minister and Health Minister of the state to take necessary action for immediate payment in this direction so that the poor patients holding Ayushman card do not have to face huge problems and they can get proper treatment.
