MP receives 95 per cent of rainfall in this monsoon season

Madhya Pradesh has received 95 percent of its rainfall this monsoon season, ie an average of 35.3 inches, if 2 inches more rain is received, this year's quota of normal rainfall will be full. All 10 sluice gates of Barkheda Dam in Kukshi of Dhar were opened, 6.5 inches of rain was recorded in Barkheda in 24 hours. The level of the dam reached 262.40 meters. Due to the inflow of water of 3300 cubic meters per second, all the gates of the dam are being opened and water is being released.

The quota of the season was full due to more than the quota of rain in July and August. The water that is raining in September is in excess. The effect of heat was reduced due to rain on Wednesday. There was heat and humidity due to bright sunshine in the morning.

The gates of Bhadbhada and Kaliyasot Dam of Bhopal are closed on Wednesday. On the other hand, one gate each of Kerwa-Kolar Dam is open. Kerwa has automatic gates, which open as soon as the water level rises and also close automatically.
