Monsoon likely to enter Madhya Pradesh on June 17-18

Monsoon has reached many states of the country including Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, possibilities of monsoon entering Madhya Pradesh is June 17-18. Before this, pre-monsoon activity is going on in the state. There was rain with thunder and lightning in Dhar on Tuesday evening.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorm, rain and hail in many districts of Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours on Tuesday evening.

According to the Meteorological Department there is a possibility of lightning, hailstorm and storm at a speed of up to 60 km per hour in Dholawad, Jhabua, Agar of Ratlam, South-East Betul, Mandu of Dhar, Alirajpur, Bawangaja of Barwani, Burhanpur, South Chhindwara, Seoni and Pandhurna.

Light thundershowers are expected in Pench, Balaghat, West Ujjain, North-West Rajgarh, Mandsaur, South Neemuch, Maheshwar of Khargone, South Khandwa, Indore, South Mandla and Dindori during the evening and night.

IMD, Bhopal said that there is pre-monsoon activity due to Western Disturbance and Cyclonic Circulation. Monsoon has reached many parts of Maharashtra on Monday. However, the branch of Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea will be a little weak for the next two-three days. In such a situation, monsoon will be able to enter the state only by June 16-17.

Due to pre-monsoon activity, there are two types of weather in the state. Somewhere there is storm and rain, somewhere there is the effect of heat. Sidhi was the hottest on Monday. The temperature here was recorded at 45.2 degree Celsius. On the other hand, the top 10 hottest cities include Singrauli, Satna, Rewa, Shahdol, Tikamgarh, Khajuraho, Mandla, Khargone and Narmadapuram.

The highest day temperature was recorded at 44.6 degree celsius in Rewa, 44.3 degree celsius in Singrauli and 44 degree celsius in Sidhi.

Satna was 43.1 degrees, Shahdol was 41.4 degrees, Tikamgarh-Khajuraho was 41 degrees, Mandla was 40.5 degrees, Khargone was 40.4 degrees and Narmadapuram was 40.2 degrees.

Bhopal was 39.3 degrees, Indore was 35.8 degrees, Gwalior was 38.2 degrees, Jabalpur was 39.4 degrees and Ujjain was 36 degrees.

The Met has issued warning of heat waves in Singrauli and Sidhi while hail storm, thunder showers and gusty winds in Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dewas, Shajapur, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Ampur, Shahdol, Umaraya, Dindori, Katni, Patna, Damoh, Sagar, Tikamgarh and Niwari.
