Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday kicked-off his whirlwind two-day visit to the State with an electrifying rally, igniting the election fervour and staunchly promoting the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) influence in shaping the state’s political and social landscape.

Addressing a spirited gathering in Tata College Chaibasa, Modi emphasized the pivotal role of the BJP in the creation of Jharkhand, countering claims by opposition leaders. He credited the party’s resolve and strength for bringing the state into existence and highlighted significant initiatives undertaken under BJP’s governance, including the Ayushman Bharat and Mudra Yojana, showcasing the party’s commitment to the state’s development. In his spirited address to the residents of State, Modi sought support for Geeta Koda ( candidate from Singhbhum) and Arjun Munda ( candidate from Khunti).

Modi’s speech resonated with the audience as he specifically mentioned the launch of the PM Janman Yojana from the village of revered tribal leader Lord Birsa Munda, reinforcing the BJP’s engagement with local heritage and progress.

Expressing his personal dedication to Jharkhand’s advancement, Modi passionately articulated that the state holds greater significance to him than even Delhi. He cited successful programs like Modi’s guarantee, which commenced in Jharkhand, as evidence of tangible benefits attributed to his leadership.

“ It was Atal Bihari Vajpayee who paved the way for the creation of a separate State Jharkhand. Our party has played a key role in the development of the State. Ever since the JMM and Congress came to power it has led to the plunder. It is time for the people of Jharkhand to strengthen the BJP for a better future,” said Modi.

Modi alleged that Congress has a proposal to eliminate reservations for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), and transfer reservation benefits to the Muslim community.

He argued that the Congress believes that the current reservation system perpetuates caste divisions and impedes social harmony.

The Prime Minister’s campaign trail continued with a roadshow in Ranchi, marked by stringent security measures to ensure smooth proceedings. His itinerary includes major local waypoints, further emphasizing his and the BJP’s deep-rooted connection to Jharkhand’s electorate.

Modi’s emphatic rally has set the tone for his visit, highlighting the BJP’s vision for Jharkhand’s development and reinforcing the party’s commitment to the state’s progress. As the election fervor intensifies, all eyes are on Modi’s next moves and the impact they will have on the political landscape of Jharkhand.
