Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the morale of the Indian Army has been significantly uplifted under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Army is now equipped with state-of-the-art weapons featuring advanced technology.

Prime Minister Modi has placed a strong emphasis on manufacturing indigenous fighter aircraft and weapons, thereby reducing the Army’s reliance on foreign arms. He remarked that India no longer waits to respond in war, but proactively takes the fight to the enemy, striking them in their own territory. Yadav made these remarks while addressing the ex-servicemen’s felicitation program at the 3 EME Center in Bhopal.

The Samman Nidhi of parents of Madhya Pradesh residents whose daughter is in the army has been increased from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 20 thousand per year. The state government gives the highest amount of honorarium to the soldiers and their dependents awarded with various gallantry and distinguished service decorations.

Ex-servicemen, widows, disabled servicemen, and dependents are provided financial assistance and scholarships under various schemes, which is the highest in the entire country.

Yadav said that children of ex-servicemen in the state are given reservations in various courses including medical, engineering, technical education, and law. It has been decided to increase the posts of employees at Assistant Grade-3 level in District Sainik Welfare Offices along with reservation for ex-servicemen on Group C and D posts of all government departments. Under government schemes, soldiers are given reservations for land.
