Ministers of UP Govt invite people of Jharkhand to Mahakumbh

Mahakumbh is being organized in Prayagraj, UP from January 13 to February 26. Uttar Pradesh Minister Yogendra Upadhyay and Minister of State Suresh Rahi have reached Jharkhand to invite everyone to Mahakumbh. 

 

Upadhyay and Rahi held a press meet in Ranchi and invited everyone to Mahakumbh on Mnday. Rahi said that a cabinet minister and a minister of state of the UP Government are going to the capitals of all the states of the Country and inviting the Governors, Chief Ministers and common people there.

The Ministers said that they will meet the Governor on Tuesday and invite him for Mahakumbh. At the same time, he also said that he is not getting time from the Chief Minister right now. In the press meet, the ministers promoted Mahakumbh. He said that the Uttar Pradesh government is fully committed to make Mahakumbh-2025 a global symbol of Indian culture and unity.

The aim is to make Mahakumbh-2025 more divine and grand than the Mahakumbh of 2019. Important steps are being taken to make the Maha Kumbh historic with international participation and state-of-the-art facilities. Special attention is being paid to making the Maha Kumbh clean, healthy, safe and digital.  A pledge has been taken to have a single-use plastic-free Maha Kumbh and about three lakh plants have been planted across Prayagraj. 

 

Specialist doctors have been deployed on a large scale for the health care of the pilgrims and modern facilities have been provided in the hospitals.

Digital facilities like Maha Kumbh website, app, AI chat bot, QR based pass, digital signage, automated ration supply system etc. will be available. Facilities like smart parking, river front, integrated control command center etc. will be available for tourists. There is a provision of 101 smart parking, in which 5 lakh vehicles will be parked daily. 

 

Under this, allotment of shops to various dona vendors, meeting with the principals of 400 schools and 4 lakh children will make Prayagraj aware of cleanliness. 3 lakh plants have also been planted for Green Maha Kumbh.

In the field of health, a 100-bed hospital has been built in the parade ground. Two small hospitals of 20 beds and two hospitals of 8 beds have been prepared. Two ICUs of 10 beds each have been built by the Army Hospital in the fair area. In which doctors will be deployed 24 hours. Among them, 291 MBBS, 90 Ayurvedic and Specialists, 182 nurses will be deployed.

35 old and new paved ghats have been built in the Maha Kumbh city, which will prove to be very helpful for the devotees in bathing. Flower shower will be done from helicopter on all the 44 ghats spread over an area of 12 kilometers. On the lines of Mumbai's Marine Drive, a river front has been constructed in an area of about 15.25 kilometers along the Ganges from Sangam to Nagvasuki Temple, from Surdas to Chhatnag, from near Curzon Bridge to Mahavir Puri. 

 

Apart from this, the Integrated Control Command Center has been upgraded. This will help in crowd management. Four 52-seater viewing centers have been set up to view CCTV cameras.
