Metro trains will run at a speed of 80 km per hour in two big cities of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and Indore. The trial of this speed has been successful in Bhopal.

However, the metro train can also run at a speed of 90 km per hour on the track. So that all the parameters of the system of track and coach can be fulfilled. After the trial in Bhopal, the train will soon run at the same speed in Indore also. The train will stop at the station every 2 minutes.

A trial run is being conducted by running the metro coach on the track between Subhash Nagar and Rani Kamlapati (RKMP) in Bhopal. Till now the metro has run at the highest speed of 80Km. This is being considered a big success, because whenever the commercial run of the metro starts, the speed will remain the same. Metro Corporation officials said that the metro had never been run at such a speed before. In the trial run, it ran at a speed of 30 to 50 km only. Once the speed was 60 km, but the maximum speed is only 80 km.

So far five metro trains have arrived in Bhopal. There are 3-3 coaches in every train. A train of 3 coaches will run 3000 km.

According to Metro officials, so far 5 trains of 3 coaches each have arrived in Bhopal. Only this number of trains are required in the Priority Corridor. After completion of speed testing on the track, now each train will run 3 thousand kilometers.

During this period the speed of the train will be between 30 to 80 kilometers per hour. In the future this speed can also be 90 kilometers per hour.

The metro first was on the track on October 3 2023. The then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan sat in the metro and went from Subhash Nagar to Rani Kamalapati station. Since then, the train is continuously being brought to the test and main track. These trial runs were at a speed of 25 to 30 kilometers only. For the first time, trial runs have been conducted at speeds of 6 km and 80 km.

The first trial run of the metro train took place on 3 October 2023. Since then the train trials have been done continuously on the track.

After the trial run in October 2023, it was being said that the commercial run would also be done in May-June, but a lot of work still remains on the tracks and stations. There is a 6.22 km long priority corridor. Of these, 5 stations from Subhashnagar to RKMP are also included. After this, a lot of work remains on the track between DMR office, Alkapuri and AIIMS. At the same time, only half the work of the three stations is left. Other work including interior work is still pending at other 5 stations. In such a situation, now the metro will run for the common people only at the end of the year or next year. Before this the team will come from Delhi. The commercial run will start only after inspection and 'OK' from the team.

After running the metro for the maximum distance in Bhopal, the speed will remain the same in Indore also. Software will be installed in all trains. The train will be run after all the parameters are met. 5 trains have also arrived in Indore.

The maximum speed of metro in Bhopal will be 80 kilometers per hour. The train has been tested at this speed. Which is being considered a big success.

Bhopal Metro has a 6.22 km long priority corridor. There are plans to start the commercial run in the next few months. After this, when you enter the station to travel in the metro train, you will see the same picture which is inside an airport. There will also be a food plaza and some shops inside. From where you will be able to buy food and other essential items. Metro Rail Corporation has also started preparations for this. Plans are being prepared through experts. Similar plans will be made for Indore metro stations also.

The priority corridor of Metro is between Subhash Nagar to AIIMS. Five stations - RKMP, Subhash Nagar, Central School, in front of DB and MP Nagar - have been completed up to 90 percent.
