Meteorology department issues heavy rain alert in 11 district including Bhopal

After the monsoon covered the entire state, rains continued in the state on Friday as well. It rained in more than 10 districts including Bhopal, Indore. Chamunda Mata temple in Ujjain was flooded.

It rained in many districts of the state including Chhindwara, Mandla, Seoni, Umaria, Balaghat. Seoni recorded 2.6 inches of rainfall. At the same time, 45 inches of rain was recorded in Malajkhand of Balaghat district. On Friday, the monsoon also entered the northern parts of Mauganj, Sidhi and Singrauli.

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 11 districts including Bhopal, Gwalior on Friday. There will be thunderstorms, lightning and clouds in the rest of the districts of the state including Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain.

Meteorologist told rain will continue in the state for the next few days. Western Disturbance, Trough Line and Cyclonic Circulation System are active. Due to this, there was rain in the western part of the state on Thursday. Similar weather will continue for the next few days.

On the other hand, Sidhi recorded the highest temperature of 39 degrees. Pachmarhi-Seoni remained the coldest. The day temperature here was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Malajkhand and Chhindwara was less than 30 degrees.

There is also a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in Sehore, Dewas, Shajapur, Mandla, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Balaghat, Amarkantak of Anuppur, Agar-Malwa, Ujjain, Neemuch.

There is a possibility of lightning or lightning with light thunder in Betul, Pachmarhi of Narmadapuram, Raisen, Ashoknagar, Bhopal, Bhimbetka of Raisen, Shivpuri, Chhatarpur, Panna, Rewa, Mauganj, Chitrakoot of Satna, Maihar, Damoh, Katni.

The weather may also change in Shahdol, Umaria, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Alirajpur, Barwani, Ratlam, Harda, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur.

In the last 24 hours, the wind speed was the highest in Jabalpur. Here the wind blew at a speed of 52 Km per hour, 50 Km in Bhopal, 47 Km in Khajuraho, 41Km in Agar-Shajapur, 37 Km in Chhindwara, 35 Km in Balaghat and Ashoknagar-Guna, 34 Km in Seoni, Chhatarpur, Gwalior-Neemuch, 32 Km in Barwani-Damoh, 30 Km in Katni, Singrauli-Datia, 28 Km in Sagar-Rewa, wind speed was 26 Km per hour in Mandla-Rajgarh.

According to the Meteorological Department, there was a period of heavy rain and storm in Madhya Pradesh in the last 24 hours. Storm and rain occurred in all the districts of the state except Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol and Harda. The maximum rainfall of 148.6 mm i.e. 5.8 inches of water was recorded in Depalpur, Indore. In the districts of Bhind, Agar-Malwa, Morena, Chhatarpur, Damoh and Chhindwara.
