Medi-Caps University, Indore celebrates Science Day

Medi-Caps University, Indore illuminated with the spirit of innovation and science on the occasion of National Science Day on February 28th, 2024. The celebration, themed "Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat," aimed to showcase the nation's prowess in scientific advancements and its potential to contribute to India's development. The day marked the discovery of the Raman Effect by the Indian physicist Sir CV Raman.

The celebration began with the inauguration of National Science day event by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) D.K. Patnaik, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr) D.K.Panda, and Registrar Dr. P. Siluvainathan, Deans of all Faculties, Heads of Departments, Teachers, and Students.

The event, held at campus, witnessed the esteemed presence of Ram Janay Choudhary, a distinguished Senior Scientist from UGC DAE CSR Indore, who graced the occasion as the guest speaker. With his profound insights and expertise, Choudhary shed light on the significance of indigenous technologies in shaping a developed India.

Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.)D. K  Patnaik discussed in detail about the important contribution of science to developed India. In his statement, he expressed his views on how and when science impacts human life on the basis of his or her cognitive ability.

The celebration was a testament to the university's commitment to fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and innovation among its students and faculty members. Through engaging discussions, and interactive sessions, all were encouraged to explore the rich landscape of indigenous technologies and their potential to drive sustainable development.

As the event concluded, it left a lasting impression on all attendees, inspiring them to continue their journey towards scientific excellence and contribute to the nation's progress. Medi-Caps University remains steadfast in its dedication to nurturing future leaders in science and technology, paving the way for a brighter and more innovative tomorrow.

The Program is successfully coordinated by Dean Agriculture Dr. Sunil D Upadhyaya, Dean Science Dr. A. A. Koser, Dean Research Dr. V. Ganeshan and their team. In the concluding note Dr. A. A shows the gratitude to guest speaker and all the dignitaries. The event was a huge success and demonstrated the University's commitment to promoting and supporting scientific research and innovation.
