Managing Director of MP Transco, Er. Sunil Tiwari took a review meeting of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company in view of the upcoming Rabi season in Madhya Pradesh.
In the meeting, Managing Director Er Sunil Tiwari discussed the current affairs of the company, reviewed the progress of maintenance work of transmission lines and substations and seriously discussed the challenges of possible increase in electricity demand during irrigation in the months of November and December and measures to deal with it. In this review meeting, he directed that M. P. Transco officials should be prepared to handle the possible maximum power demand in the upcoming Rabi season in Madhya Pradesh.
The Managing Director directed that all maintenance works should be completed on time before the Rabi season and availability of all materials and spare parts to be used in emergency situations should be ensured.
He said that the work related to Prime Minister Jal Jeevan Mission should be completed on priority and the remaining work of installation of capacitor banks in sub-stations should be completed soon so that its benefits start getting from this Rabi season.
Er. Sunil Tiwari gave instructions to maintain tight arrangements during Rabi season.
He said during the meeting that to maintain excellence in all the works of MP Transco, there is a need to work with changes and new technology as per the times.
While giving instructions to follow the safety norms during work, he said that the safety of the employees is of paramount importance, hence there is a need to develop a culture of working with safety among them.
Appreciating the continuous weekly training being given to the employees in MP Transco on various subjects, he gave special instructions to provide training on new subjects like personality development, communication skills and life saving CPR technique in emergency. Heads of departments of Transco's head quarter Jabalpur and senior officials from entire Madhya Pradesh participated in this meeting.
