Mayor Malti Rai reviewed the performance of the mayoral helpline on Tuesday and instructed officials to strive for speedy resolution of citizen complaints.
Rai instructed officials to accord top priority to complaints regarding street lights, and ensure that they are in working condition within a week.Getting hands on, Rai also called up several complainants and asked them for their feedback regarding the services provided by the helpline.
The review, conducted every Tuesday, took place at the control room on the Smart City premises. Several civic body officials and departmental heads were in attendance.
The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) later informed that a total of 763 complaints have been registered at the control room since the beginning of October. 380 of these have been resolved satisfactorily while the remaining are in various stages of completion.
