State BJP President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today attended the Vijay Sankalp Sabha and Karyakarta Samman program of Hazaribagh Assembly constituency as the chief guest. Honouring the workers by giving them shawls, Marandi said that the capital of BJP is the workers. The party leaders remain attached to the stage, garlands and mikes but a common worker quietly does extraordinary work for the party.
He said that only the ordinary worker of the booth fights the battle on the ground. Be it the Panna Pramukh or the committee of the booth. All deserve congratulations. He said that only the worker answers the questions of the public at every step, only the worker does door to door contact. Therefore, giving respect to the workers is the duty of the party.
He said that the Modi government for the third time is the result of the tireless hard work of the workers, which the people of Congress, JMM and Indi Alliance are unable to digest today. They cannot tolerate that the son of a tea seller becomes the Prime Minister of India for the third time. He said that in the Lok Sabha elections, Indi Alliance resorted to lies and false propaganda. Various kinds of rumours were spread but the people of the country gave them a befitting reply.
He said that not only Modi government was formed at the Centre but BJP NDA governments were formed in many states. He said that in Jharkhand also NDA got 81 lakh votes, won 9 seats while INDI Thugbandhan was reduced to 5 seats with 66 lakh votes. NDA has won 52 assembly seats in the state. Many ministers including the then Chief Minister of the state could not make Indi Thugbandhan win in their assembly constituencies.
He said that today the condition of the state is going from bad to worse. Law and order is in shambles. Businessmen get calls from criminals, ransom is demanded. Not a single industrialist is ready to set up an industry. Police officers have mastered extortion. Competitive examinations of youth are falling prey to corruption. Jobs are being sold for lakhs. He said that there is loot of sand, stone, coal and land.
The demography of Santhal Pargana is changing. According to the census report of 1951 to 2011, the population of tribals is decreasing rapidly and the Muslim population is increasing unexpectedly day by day. It seems that in a few days the existence of tribals will end from Santhal Pargana.
He said that in such a situation, the public is looking towards BJP and NDA with hopeful eyes. We have to give voice to the feelings of the public. He said that the public is fed up with the lies and breach of promises of the Thugbandhan government. He said that today we all should pledge through Vijay Sankalp Sabha to uproot the corrupt, useless Hemant government and form a strong double engine government.
