Marandi calls for change of JMM/Cong govt in State

Monday, 23 September 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today addressed Parivartan Sabha in Bhandaria of Daltonganj Assembly. On this occasion, he said that the development of Jharkhand is being stopped by Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha alliance government which is led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Without bringing change in Jharkhand, the development of the state is not possible. People are appealed to change these people. Bring change and form the government of Bharatiya Janata Party in Jharkhand.

The State President said that people were agitating for years for the formation of a separate state of Jharkhand. Sometimes the movement was led by Jaipal Singh and sometimes by Shibu Soren. However, the Congress Party never cared about the sentiments of the people of Jharkhand. Congress bought the Jharkhand movement by giving money. The people who started the movement got sold for money. The separate state of Jharkhand is the gift of Bharatiya Janata Party. It is the gift of former Prime Minister of Bharatiya Janata Party, late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Marandi said that Jharkhand will develop rapidly if there is a BJP government in the Center and the state. 20-25 years ago, there were no roads in the villages. People used to travel on foot. Even the wedding procession had to go miles on foot. When the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed, roads were built to every village. Today people travel by car.

The state president said that earlier the villagers had not even seen electricity. The Congress party ruled this country for 55 years, but never worried about providing electricity to the villages. When the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed at the center, electricity was provided to every village.

Marandi said that Hemant Soren had sworn on his father and said that he would give jobs to 5 lakh youth every year. He also said that if 5 lakh jobs are not given, he will retire from politics. Those who swear on their father and do not fulfill their promise, how long will it take them to cheat the common people. Mr. Marandi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party did not pressurize him to say this. Hemant Soren had said in the assembly that if jobs are not given, unemployment allowance will be given to the youth. 5000 rupees will be given to BA pass and 7000 rupees to MA pass. It has been 5 years, but no one has received unemployment allowance.
