Man dies as overhead wire falls on Neelanchal express

There has been an incident of railway electric wire falling on the train between Suisa and Tiraldih of Chandil- Muri railway section of Jamshedpur. The overhead wire of the train broke and fell on the train in Nilanchal Express. One person died in this incident. Two people are reported to be injured.

The injured were taken to Baghmundi Sadar Hospital in West Bengal for treatment. Both are being treated in the hospital.

The overhead wire broke and fell on the Nilanchal Express train running between Odisha and Anand Vihar Terminal, due to which this accident happened. It was being said that 40 passengers were burnt due to the breakage of the overhead wire, but the railway denied it. The Public Relations Officer of Ranchi Railway Division said that two passengers sitting on the gate of the train have been injured.

In this regard, Santosh, a passenger in the train, said that after Suisa railway station, there was a loud sound in the train. After the sound, the train stopped after going about two kilometers. It was told that the OHT wire has fallen on the train. Two passengers in the train have been injured in this incident. One passenger's face is torn while the other passenger's head is torn. It was told that an hour after the incident, both the injured were taken to the hospital in a police vehicle for treatment. The passengers bled a lot due to not being taken to the hospital on time.

Due to the accident, many trains passing through this route were stopped immediately. Nilanchal Express remained standing there for about an hour. Due to this accident, the operation of many trains has been disrupted. As soon as the accident was reported, a crowd gathered at Tatanagar railway station, because a large number of Tatanagar people also travel by this train. Due to the accident, Barkakana Tata-train and Tata-Hatia train have been diverted. These trains are now going to Tatanagar via Chandil, Purulia and Muri.

Senior DCM of Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway said that this incident took place between Suisa Tiruldih station. Two passengers were hanging in the door area of the bogie of Nilanchal Express train. Meanwhile, a wire fell on them, due to which they were seriously injured. Railways has not confirmed anyone's death.
