A 35-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his Bhim Nagar residence, no reason for suicide is found in the initial investigation.
At the time of suicide wife and children of deceased Arvind Kumar Prajapati, were not present at home. At midnight, the seven-year-old son woke up and saw his father's body hanging from the ceiling.
He immediately informed his mother about the matter. The mother raised an alarm and with the help of the neighbors body was brought down. The police have started an investigation.
According to the police, Arvind Kumar was a resident of Bhim Nagar and used to work as a driver of a loading vehicle.
His brother Sunil Prajapati said that after returning from work on Thursday night, his brother cleaned the house. Due to Diwali, he was also painting the house himself. By around 11:30 pm, his daughter, son and wife all three slept in one room.
Late at 1 am, the son woke up and went to check how much painting the father had done and found father's body hanging. He immediately woke up his mother who alerted the neighbours and took the body down and informed the police.
After the information, the police reached the spot and took the body in their custody. The police did not find any suicide note in the search of the room. The police have confiscated the mobile phone of the deceased.
