The CM said that within the last 15 to 20 days, we have moved forward with the target of covering about 48 lakh women of the state with the benefits of this scheme. In the coming days, the daughter or sister whose age will be 21 years will automatically be linked with this scheme. All sisters, daughters and mothers above 21 years are entitled to this ambitious scheme.
The CM said that the transfer of honour amount under "Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana" was also organized in Santhal Pargana recently, it felt very good to see the crowd of thousands of women present in this program and the happiness on their faces. The CM said that his government has so far provided employment to more than one lakh young men and women in the private sector. 35 to 40 thousand government jobs have been given. About 40 thousand more government appointments are under process in the coming few months. The process of appointments by the state government is continuing continuously. He said that his government is now providing 200 units of electricity per month free of cost to electricity consumers. He said that the outstanding dues of old electricity bills of poor people will also be waived so that there is no burden on them and they can get the benefit of 200 units of free electricity.
