Koebira MLA inaugurates Lamboi Bazaar Tand Akhara

Friday, 28 June 2024 | PNS | Kolebira

An Akhara inauguration program was organized in the Bazaar Tand of Lombai Panchayat under Jaldega block. In which a cultural dance and song competition was also organized.  MLA Kolebira Assembly constituency inaugurated the Akhara and he was present in the programme as Chief Guest.

At the beginning of the program, all the guests were given a rousing welcome by the villagers present there, dancing and singing to the beats of drums and mandar.

The MLA said that the British policy of divide and rule is being implemented by BJP and BJP's ally Jharkhand Party which is Enos Ekka Family Party. “BJP and Jhapa have made it a conspiracy to destroy tribal identity by making the tribals fight among themselves. BJP and Jhapa say that those who have left their original religion and adopted other religions are not tribals. BJP and Jhapa say that those who have adopted other religions have forgotten their language, culture, tradition. Such people should not be given the benefits of tribals by delisting them and should be removed from the tribal list. Since, if Christian tribals are delisted from the tribal list, then the area will no longer be a tribal-dominated area and the independent area will be out of the fifth list,” he added.

“Since BJP and Jhapa formed the government together in 2005, they have been continuously accusing each other of dividing the tribals. Whereas these allegations are completely false, based on hatred and prejudice, it is a conspiracy to destroy the tribal community so that their rights to water, forest, land, minerals, property, reservation in jobs and reserved posts of public representatives can be snatched away and abolished,” said Kongari.

The MLA said that BJP and Jhapa always try to ensure that no person from the tribal community represents the society. Enos Ekka always wants to keep the power with himself and his family, so that he can always help in fulfilling the objectives sponsored by the BJP, he added.

“Keeping all these things in mind, today the people of the tribal community are here to give a clear message to the anti-tribal BJP and Jhapa that we tribals who believe in different religions, we are still keeping our culture and language alive,” said Kongari.

In this program, many dance troupes presented their performances. For this, the MLA also distributed awards as an incentive. As prizes, Nagada, Mandar and traditional saree were given to all the members of all the participating teams.

In the program, District MLA representative cum Minority Congress District President, Ravel Lakra, Jaldega Block President, Sushil Jadia, MLA representative, Arjun Horo, State Secretary Minority Congress, Jamir Ahmed, Mukhiya Shishir Dang, Lamboi Panchayat President, Shishir Lugun, Sosanti Topno, Sumanti Samad, Padha Raja and others were present.
