The Khadi fashion and the rich tapestry of Indian culture will be the spotlights of the second edition of ‘UP International Trade Show’, which is set to take place in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29.

A special highlight of the event will be a fashion show on September 28, in which renowned models from UP and across the country will don fashionable Khadi outfits inspired by Indian culture. This event will feature models from Uttar Pradesh showcasing ethnic attire, including chikankari and GI-tagged garments.

Additionally, a cultural troupe from Vietnam, which is participating in the event as a partner country, will offer a glimpse into their nation’s traditions, adding an international flavour to the event. High-quality Vietnamese products will be on display, and visitors will get a taste of Vietnam’s culture through a vibrant cultural programme to be performed by a Vietnamese troupe.

An exchange of traditional dishes from Vietnam and India, along with business forums, will further deepen the ties between the two nations.

A dedicated committee has been set up to ensure the seamless execution of these cultural activities.

The five-day event will also celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh, with colourful displays and performances. Visitors will experience the diverse traditions of regions like Braj, Purvanchal, Awadh, Paschimanchal, Rohilkhand, and Bundelkhand.

The highlights will include a performance by the Anunad Music Band, the Shriradha Madhab ballet ‘Ramgaan’, and a Kathak dance-drama inspired by the Ramayana, ensuring a vibrant cultural showcase throughout the event.
