The eve of Nature festival Karma was celebrated by Adivasi Karmachari Samiti in Nagar Bhawan on Sunday in Lohardaga. The program was inaugurated by in-charge DC cum Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Superintendent of Police Haris Bina Zaman and members of Adivasi Karmachari Samiti by jointly lighting the lamp.
On this occasion, SP Haris Bina Zaman said that we always see the love and dedication towards nature in our culture being fulfilled. Environmental construction is an important part of our life. To further strengthen the condition of society, while paying attention to education, we also have to be aware of our rights and duties. He told that on 10th September, a public complaint program is being started in Lohardaga Town Hall.
In-charge DC cum Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat said that the identity of Jharkhand is its tribals, there is a need to promote art, culture and tradition, even today many plans have been made for tribal development, it is the responsibility of tribal officers, employees, public representatives to take the society forward, never ignore education and health, we need to take this culture not only in the country but also abroad.
On this occasion, folk dance was presented by the Tribal Employees Committee. In the program, tribal community of all blocks of the district, which is about 7 Khodha, presented dance with cultural traditional customs and costumes. On this occasion, Kishore Oraon, Binod Kumar Oraon, Rekha, Taramani, Anup, Jaggu, Chandrakishore Bhagat, Sunil Minj, Surendra Oraon, Arvind Oraon, Rekha Oraon, Anju Kujur and others were also present.
