JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya has given a strong reaction to the statement of Jharkhand BJP in-charge Laxmikant Vajpayee. Bhattacharya said that Bharatiya Janata Party's thinking about mothers and sisters is not hidden and Laxmikant Vajpayee's latest statement confirms this. He said that whatever Laxmikant Vajpayee said in Seraikela was derogatory for women.
Laxmikant Vajpayee while answering a question regarding the controversy over the candidature of Dhullu Mahato in Dhanbad in Jamshedpur had allegedly used abusive language. Politics has heated up in the State over his statement.
Supriyo Bhattacharya questioned BJP’s thinking on Vajpayee’s statement. “Have you come to Jharkhand with such thoughts? Does the Prime Minister also think the same because he is also an MP from UP?” he asked. Bhattacharya said that a few days ago they had protested against such language. Police should take cognizance and take action against Laxmikant Vajpayee for using such language coming from UP. Bhattacharya demanded to send Laxmikant Vajpayee to jail.
The JMM leader said that BJP is scared of the manifesto of INDI Alliance. The Prime Minister should present the report card of his 10 years of work. Regarding Laxmikant Vajpayee, Supriyo Bhattacharya said that if you think like this towards women, you will also be treated like this. State President Babulal Marandi should tell what he did in such a statement. He said that there is nervousness in BJP due to the Maharally proposed on 21st April. He said that they know what will be the condition of Babulal Marandi in the BJP. BJP has become a JVM in Jharkhand.
Bhattacharya further said that elections are being held in Jharkhand against the injustice done to Hemant Soren. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is seeking votes from the youth on the issue of employment. The atrocities against women wrestlers in Delhi shows the mentality of BJP. He said that if Hemant Soren's wife has come to the election field, BJP is in troubled waters. Nishikant Dubey is tweeting but Jharkhand will not bow down. Laxmikant Vajpayee will also get his answer when the time comes, he said.
