JMM expels senior leaders Lobin Hembrom and Sita Soren

Senior JMM leader and Borio MLA Lobin Hembram and Jama MLA, Sita Soren have been expelled from the party on Friday.

 

The party issued a letter saying that by deciding to contest as an independent candidate from Rajmahal seat, Hembram has acted against the principles of alliance. Therefore he is expelled from the party for six years. Lobin Hembram has filed nomination as an independent candidate from Rajmahal Lok Sabha seat. He has been accused of misleading the party workers.

 

Similarly through a letter issued by the party Jama MLA, Sita Soren has also been expelled from JMM. The party has issued a letter and said that Soren has resigned from the party’s post in March. After getting verified from various sources the party has decided to expel her from the party for the period of six years. Soren filed her nomination from Dumka Lok Sabha constituency as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate.

 

It is noteworthy that even before this, JMM has shown the way out to the rebel leaders. Chamra Linda and JP Verma have also been expelled from the party. On the day Lobin Hembrum filed his nomination, he also said that people are underestimating him and the party will regret after the results on June 4. He is getting immense public support in Rajmahal area. Declaring that his victory was certain, Lobin had said that the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had committed the mistake of not listening to him, and the party would have to bear the consequences of this, added Lobin.

 

Voting for Rajmahal and Dumka seat is to be held on June 1. From Rajmahal seat, Tala Marandi from BJP, Vijay Hansda from India Alliance and Lobin Hembram as independent candidates have stood as candidates. From Dumka seat is senior JMM leader and seven times MLA, Nalin Soren is cotensting as JMM candidate against Sita Soren.
