Western disturbance will be active in North India from Saturday. This will be seen in Jharkhand also. Due to this, there will be chances of heavy to moderate rain in many districts of the State. This information was given by the Head, Indian Meteorological Center, Ranchi, Abhishek Anand on Friday.
Anand further explained that, the minimum temperature in the southern parts of the State may drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius during the next 2 days Wwhich will result in more cold for the people of the State. “No major changes are likely in the remaining parts of the State. After this, a gradual increase of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is possible in the next 3 days in the State. There will be fog or mist in the morning on February 3 and February 4. The weather will be dry during the next two to three days. The sky is expected to be clear,” he added.
The Center Head also said that there may be light rain with isolated thunder in the northern parts of the State on February 5. Its effect will be seen at some places in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj districts of the State, he added.
According to the Centre, there may be light rain at isolated places in the north-eastern, southern and central parts of the state on February 6. Its effect will be seen in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Gumla, Khunti, Ranchi, Ramgarh, Lohardaga, Bokaro, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Giridih, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Godda, Sahibganj, Pakur districts. .
Anand said that people need to be careful regarding fog. Be careful while driving. “Use fog lights while driving. Unless there is an emergency, avoid going out. Keep your face covered,” he added.
