A meeting to review the issues related to Scheduled Tribe employees was organized in the august presence of Chairman, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, Antar Singh Arya in IFX Hall at BHEL Bhopal on Thursday.
Executive Director, BHEL Bhopal, SM Ramanathan, Senior Officers of Scheduled Tribe Commission, BK Singh, General Manager (HR), all other General Managers, Liaison Officer Scheduled Tribes, representatives of Scheduled Tribes Association were present in this program.
Arya inquired about the facilities being provided to the Scheduled Tribe employees working in BHEL Bhopal and emphasized on making efforts to increase them as much as possible.
He also discussed about the problems of Scheduled Tribe employees working in BHEL Bhopal. He praised the coordination done with the Commission team in this program organized by BHEL Bhopal Management and also appreciated the organizers.
All the members present came to know about the provisions made by the government for the upliftment of scheduled tribes and the role of National Commission for Scheduled Tribes in their implementation and the importance of the guidelines given.
On this occasion, Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, General Manager (SOM) gave a brief information about BHEL Bhopal and made a presentation on the production capabilities along with the products manufactured by BHEL Bhopal.
