Sports week at CIPET, Ranchi begins
Annual Sports Week is being conducted at Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology, Ranchi from November 27 to November 30 in which sports including cricket, volleyball, racing, shotput and carrom are being organised. The competition was inaugurated by the Director and Head of the Institute on Thursday in the presence of Training in-charge, staff members and students of the institute.
Manjunath Bhajantri is new Ranchi DC
Manjunath Bhajantri, posted as MD of Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), Ranchi, has been transferred and appointed as District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi district till further orders. Bhajantri will hold the additional charge of Settlement Officer, Ranchi along with his duties till further orders. Varun Ranjan, posted as Ranchi DC, has been transferred and appointed and posted on the post of Managing Director Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, Ranchi (JIIDCO) till further orders. Ranjan will hold the additional charge of Mines Commissioner, Jharkhand, Ranchi along with his duties till further orders.
2-day national workshop starts in Veterinary College
Alumni conference is being organized on November 29 and November 30 at the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry of Birsa Agricultural University (BAU). On this occasion, a national workshop has also been organized on the topic 'Future perspectives for animal health, management and welfare: challenges and opportunities'. The chief guest of the inaugural session organized at the RVC auditorium on Thursday will be RIMS Director Dr. Rajkumar and BAU Vice Chancellor Dr. SC Dubey will preside over it.
DVC organises painting competition
Damodar Valley Corporation organized a state level painting competition and prize distribution ceremony on energy conservation at Palash Auditorium, Doranda, Ranchi, Jharkhand under the Energy Conservation National Campaign 2024 of the Ministry of Power, Government of India. On this occasion, the participants of the painting competition were awarded in the dignified presence of Chief Guest Shashi Ranjan. Guests in the program were DVC's Resident Director Sanjay Kumar and Puneet Kumar Jain, Deputy General Manager (Distribution), Vinod Baruri, Senior Manager (Finance), Dr. Sangya Dash, Manager and Nodal Officer, Jharkhand, Ranchi, Nand Kishore Jha, Manager (Distribution), Naval Kishore Sinha, Amal Pratap and Ravi Kishore Oraon, contributed to the successful completion of the program.
