Inter School Fancy Dress Competition at ILCC
An “Inter School Fancy Dress Competition” for Classes Pre Nursery to II was held at The International Library and Cultural Center on 04 December 2024. The entries were divided into two groups. The little moppets in Group A turned up all dressed up as animals like Zebra, Owl, Rabbit, Peacock, Black Buck, Octopus, Macaw and Rainbow Lorikeet . The tradional attires represented by Group B included Gujrati, Chau Dancer, Bengali, Maharashtrian, Jarawa Tribal from Andamans, Sikkimese, Manipuri, Punjabi and Oriya. The Judges were Vandana Modi, Anchala Singh and Megha Kapoor. The program was conducted by ILCC Cultural Secretary Rekha Mishra. Logistical support was provided by ILCC Librarian Nivedita Sharma.
Crèche, Open Play Area inaugurated at DRM office
DRM Jasmeet Singh Bindra and President of South Eastern Railway Women Welfare Organisation, (SERWWO) Ranchi Mona Bindra inaugurated the crèche for the care of small children on the Divisional Office premises on Wednesday. Railway employee families working in Ranchi Railway Division, in which both men and women have to go out of the house for work can leave their children aged between one to 10 years free of cost at this facility during office hours. The two officials also inaugurated a play room and kids section for small children in the open gym complex located in Hatia Railway Colony Park, in which see-saw, slide and other equipment have been installed for the entertainment of small children. The three facilities have been provided by SERWWO, Ranchi. ADRM Hemraj Meena, CMS Dr. Raju Tirkey, Sr DCM cum CPRO Nishant Kumar and other officials were present on the occasion.
