Inter-school Chess Championship at SBPS
Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi hosted Inter-school Chess Championship 2024-25 on its premises on 29th & 30th November, 2024. The competition is a part of Kshitij- an array of sports activities which is being conducted by Ranchi Sahodaya School Complex. The event witnessed the presence of Deepak Kumar, an International Arbiter and Joint Secretary of All Jharkhand Chess Association as the judge. 183 students from 18 schools of Ranchi participated in the competition, which was held in four age categories. Principal Paramjit Kaur, congratulated the winning teams. She stated that the game of chess ascertains the mental agility of a player and excelling in one demonstrates their cognitive prowess and quick decision making skills.
