SLUG: HARYANA CABINET
The Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday approved borrowing of Rs 200 crore by the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) to meet the day to day expenses towards acquisition of land, infrastructure development and payment of enhanced compensation to the ex-land owners and to pay high cost debts.
In a statement, a spokesperson said that the Haryana Finance department has provided its concurrence with certain terms and conditions, including a 2 percent guarantee fee on the sanctioned credit limit, timely repayment obligations and strict adherence to the purpose of fund utilisation. The approval of Fresh Line of Credit (CC Limit/Working Capital Limit) is a significant step towards realising the vision of developed and progressive Haryana.
The cabinet also approved the enhancement of the sale limit for non-judicial and court fee stamps by licensed stamp vendors from the existing Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 per case. This decision aims to address the long-standing demands of the Stamp Vendors Association and to facilitate the general public.
