Heavy rains witnessed in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Sehore

Heavy rains lashed several areas in the state including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Sehore, 2 systems are active due to cyclonic circulation and trough line passing in the state due to which there is a situation of storm, rain and thunder in most of the districts of the state. Alert has been issued in 7 districts including Guna, Ashoknagar.

Bhopal is experiencing heavy rains for the 13th consecutive day on Wednesday. Water is falling in many areas including MP Nagar, Avadhpuri, Ayodhya Bypass, Karond, Berasia. Due to this, many colonies are flooded. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for the next 4 days. So far 9.8 inches of water has fallen in Bhopal.

It has been raining in the capital since June 21, which is continuing on Wednesday as well. Heavy rain started after noon. The Meteorological Department has predicted similar weather till night.

Met department told that at present, a trough line is also passing along with cyclonic circulation. In this way two systems are active in the state. Heavy rain and thunder will continue in many districts for the next few days. It will rain somewhere and it will be cloudy somewhere.

Earlier on Tuesday, it rained in Bhopal, Dhar, Narmadapuram, Indore, Raisen, Ratlam, Chhindwara, Damoh, Seoni, Balaghat districts. The weather remained changed in many districts even at night. Due to rain, the day temperature has dropped significantly. The mercury in the hill station Pachmarhi of the state came down to 23.4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the mercury was recorded at 25.4 degrees in Seoni. It was the highest recorded at 34.7 degrees in Gwalior.

Due to this, many colonies got flooded. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for the next 4 days. So far 9.8 inches of water has fallen in Bhopal.

Rain water filled the Man Sarovar Colony in Phanda. This has created problems for the residents.

The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert of heavy rain for the next 4 days i.e., 4, 5, 6 and 7 July. Due to this, the day temperature can reach 27 degrees and the minimum temperature can reach 23 degrees.

It rains a lot in July in Bhopal. There is a record of 1031.4 mm i.e. 41 inches of rain in a single month. This happened in the year 1986. On 22 July 1973, 11 inches of rain fell in a single day, which is a record till now. This time the monsoon arrived on 23 June. So far, 63% more rain has occurred than normal. The average rainfall of the month is 367.7 mm i.e. 14.4 inches. Due to rain, the day temperature remains below 30 and the night temperature remains below 25 degree Celsius. This time, the rain is continuing on the third day of July, Wednesday.

This time, 106 percent rainfall is expected in Bhopal. Last time, 18 percent less rainfall i.e., 82 percent (30.9 inches) rainfall was recorded, whereas the normal rainfall of Bhopal is 37.6 inches.
