Under the leadership of BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, a delegation of 17 history teachers selected by JPSC examination for Kolhan University went to Raj Bhavan and met Governor Santosh Gangwar.
The selected professors include Vinod Kumar Lohara, Hema Lakra, Muktarani Odeya, Mary Neela Hansda, Kavita Kumari, Arvind Kumar Sahu, Vikas Nandan, Saket Bihari, Pradeep Jha.
The appointment process of 17 Assistant Professors of History subject for Kolhan University was started by advertisement in the year 2018. On 31 October 2023, JPSC declared the examination result and recommended the names of the candidates.
The Syndicate of Kolhan University has also recommended the appointment on 2 February 2024. But due to the absence of a permanent Vice Chancellor in the university, the file for approval is pending in the Vice Chancellor's office.
Today, the Governor listened carefully to the selected Assistant Professors in this regard and assured that the appointment process would be completed soon.
