Jharkhand Mukti Morcha president Shibu Soren, former chief minister Hemant Soren and his wife Kalpana Soren Murmu are among the star campaigners of the party for the Lok Sabha polls in the State.
The JMM today released a list of 40 star campaigners, in which the party's central president, former CM and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren has been made the chief campaigner. Apart from CM Champai Soren, former CM Hemant Soren, Kalpana Soren, Nalin Soren, Prof. Stephen Marandi, Mathura Prasad Mahato, Savita Mahato, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Bejnay Ram, Vinod Kumar Pandey, Fagu Besra, Supriyo Bhattacharya, Deepak Birua, Sudivy Kumar Sonu, Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, Chamra Linda, Yogendra Mahato, Abhishek Kumar Pintu are also in the list.
The list also includes Nandkishore Mehta, Joba Majhi, Sameer Mohanty, Vijay Hansda, Mahua Maji, Niral Purti, Ramdas Soren, Hidayatullah Khan, Dashrath Gagrai, Basant Soren, Hafizul Hasan, Baby Mahato, Nizamuddin Ansari, Sukhram Oraon, Bhushan Tirkey, Mangal Kalindi, Jiga Susaran Horo, Vikash Singh Munda, Sanjeev Sardar, Dinesh William Marandi and Hemlal Murmu.
Meanwhile, a delegation of BJP reached the Election Commission and strongly protested against the construction of helicopter parking by JMM in Khelgaon and handed over a memorandum to the Chief Electoral Officer, Jharkhand.
The delegation included State Convenor of Law Cell Sudhir Srivastava, Deputy Chief of Judicial Affairs Prakash Jha, Advocate Shiv Kumar Sharma.
Sudhir Srivastava said that on whose order was the helicopter parking built by JMM in Khelgaon, how many times the helicopter has flown till now and what all was carried by the helicopter. There is also a possibility of movement of huge amount of money by helicopter in the elections. How much money is JMM paying for parking and to whom is it paying, all this is a matter of investigation.
By keeping helicopter parking in Khelgaon, JMM leaders are flying directly without any check. There is no CISF deputation there to check the person going. It is also necessary to find out which officers are involved in the whole matter.
At present, the Chief Election Officer has ordered an investigation, said the BJP delegation.
