Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Bhai Patel, along with his council of ministers, experienced a deeply emotional moment as they had the darshan of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.
This is their visit to Ayodhya after the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla idol in the temple in Ayodhya on January 22 this year.
Addressing the media after the visit, Patel expressed the profound significance of the occasion, saying it was a big moment because it showed the importance of Lord Ram and the desire to make Ram Rajya last for a long time.
Accompanied by a 25-member delegation, Chief Minister Patel arrived in Ayodhya on Saturday to pay homage to Ram Lalla.
Reflecting on the spiritual journey, he emphasised the sanctity of the event, describing it as a moment of immense privilege and emotion for all involved.
In a bid to facilitate the pilgrimage for devotees from Gujarat, Patel announced plans for the construction of a Yatri Niwas in Ayodhya.
Recognising the influx of devotees from across the nation to witness the glory of the Ram temple, Patel underscored the importance of providing adequate facilities for pilgrims.
He said that the Gujarat government had initiated a special Aastha train to facilitate travel for thousands of devotees, ensuring they got the opportunity to seek blessings from Ram Lalla.
Expressing gratitude towards UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Uttar Pradesh government, Patel acknowledged their support in allocating land for the proposed Yatri Niwas that would be built by the Gujarat government.
With a budget of Rs 10 crore set aside for this purpose, the Yatri Niwas aims to cater to the accommodation needs of devotees visiting Ayodhya, offering them a comfortable resting place during their spiritual sojourn.
“As Gujarat extends its hand of hospitality to pilgrims, Chief Minister Bhupendra Bhai Patel’s visit to Ayodhya not only reinforces the spiritual ties between the two states but also underscores the commitment to honouring the cultural and religious heritage of India,” said Anil Mishra, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
