Bharatiya Janata Morcha (BJM) Patron and MLA Jamshedpur East MLA, Saryu Roy has said that there are serious allegations of corruption against the State Government despite this, the opposition has failed to make corruption an issue. Obviously, both the government and the opposition are playing with the public sentiment. He was speaking at the core committee of BJM in Doranda here on Wednesday.
Roy said that the Government opened its treasury when the elections came. “Now the big question is that from where will the Government bring money now? It is not there in the budget. Every responsible citizen of Jharkhand knows that this Government is tainted with corruption. There are serious allegations of corruption. Despite this, the opposition divided into different factions has failed so far to make corruption an issue. Not only is the Government, the opposition also cheating the people of Jharkhand. People's sentiments are being played with,” he added.
The BJM leader also said that issues like local policy, employment and reservation are raised from time to time. “The purpose of raising these issues is only to fool the public. This Government is fooling the public on these issues. The liquor scam is not a scam of today. It has been going on since 2015. The mining scam has also been going on since 2015. In many cases, the charge sheet mentions 2015 till now but the people of that time are being given constitutional posts. The glory of corruption is such that even the Country's biggest party Sita-Gita has no qualms in taking them with them even after being accused of corruption,” he added.
Rai said that the office bearers of BJM will visit all the municipalities and assembly constituencies of the state from July 15 July to August 15 and will prepare a state-level manifesto based on the feedback of the people. He also said that the assembly elections will be focused on local issues, so we will also prepare district-wise manifestos so that the problems of common people can get a proper place. He said that we will give the third option to the people of the state. Bharatiya Janata Morcha will contest elections on at least 30 seats. The Morcha will contest the assembly elections in collaboration with all the people and parties that agree, he added.
BJM Chief, Dharmendra Tiwari said that apart from the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, nine central Ministers and Chief Ministers of many states had to campaign in the Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency.
The Vice President BJP PN Singh said that every election teaches something new. “When Dharmendra Tiwari was contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Ranchi, I had seen from very close that a third stream emerged between the two prevalent streams. This third stream is the BJM,” he added.
