Chhattisgarh Police took criminal Aman Sahu, lodged in Chaibasa jail, to Raipur under production warrant. Late on Sunday night, a 10-member team of Raipur Crime Branch came to Chaibasa and took Aman Sahu with them under tight security.

Aman Sahu is accused of firing outside the office of a businessman in Telibandha police station area of Raipur three months ago. Police took him to Raipur to investigate the matter further. It is worth noting that the local police has obtained protection from the court five to six times to bring Aman Sahu to Raipur under protection warrant, but till now Aman could not be brought to Raipur.

Criminal Aman Sahu, lodged in jail, has been shifted from one jail to another nine times in the last two and a half years. Even after this, his terror is not decreasing.

Sahu has been continuously threatening and extorting money from businessmen of different districts from the jail itself. Two months ago, Aman Sahu had written a letter to the Chief Justice of the High Court claiming that a conspiracy was being hatched to kill him. He had alleged that police officers, coal mafia and politicians were involved in the conspiracy. As part of the conspiracy, he was being shifted from one jail to another.

Sunil Meena of Aman Sahu gang, whose arrest remains a challenge for Jharkhand Police, is originally from Naya Mandi of Ghadsana in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan. Sunil has been among the trusted people of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Sunil went to Malaysia from India on a work visa. During his stay in Kuala Lumpur, he came in contact with Lawrence through Rohit Godara, Goldie Brar and Sampat Nehra of Lawrence Bishnoi gang and from Malaysia it started establishing his roots in the world of crime. He has started carrying out incidents like murder, extortion, firing in many districts of Rajasthan and Punjab at the behest of Lawrence Bishnoi.
