Reacting to the new campaign 'Kejriwal Aayenge' launched by the AAP for the upcoming assembly elections, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Thursday claimed that the residents are frustrated by the failures of the state government and are saying 'Kejriwal will go'.
Sachdeva stated that seeing the "Kejriwal will come" hoardings put up by the AAP, it has become evident that the party is completely anarchic. “Launching a promotional campaign for a person who is in jail, whose release depends on the court's discretion, is not only a contempt of court but also a mockery of democracy,” he added.
Sachdeva recalled AAP’s slogan for Lok Sabha elections recently and said that despite that, the AAP supremo was defeated. “On 12 May, Kejriwal for the first time appealed to the people of Delhi to vote for the INDIA alliance in the Lok Sabha elections so that he could avoid going to jail, coining the slogan "Vote me to avoid jail." He repeated this slogan everywhere, whether in Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, or Haryana, wherever he contested elections. However, people rejected the AAP everywhere,” the Delhi BJP chief stated.
