Srinivas Hospital and Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, in collaboration with NTPC, organized a camp for dental checkup and eye checkup on Saturday at the government school located at Pagar under Keredari block.In which a total of 167 needy people were examined for teeth and eyes and also advised by doctors for good health.During this period, oral health awareness and education programs were conducted by the doctors.NTPC Company officials made their commendable contribution in law and order in organizing the camp.Extraction and scaling treatment was also done free of cost in the camp.
Hazaribag Dental College Secretary Dr. Praveen Srinivas said that our main objective is to provide quality dental and health care at low cost.Basic treatment of the needy in the camp is absolutely free.Patients will be given 50 percent discount in other treatments.He said that the benefits of the camp are reaching every needy.The needy are benefiting from basic treatment.Dr. Nishad Gawli, Dr. Somya Raj and Dr. Medha Krishnan from the Department of Public Health Dentistry gave necessary advice on various diseases and their treatment.On the occasion, Dr. Binay, Dr. Abhishek, Dr. Aman, Dr. Saima, Dr. Krutika, Dr. Sweta and Dr. Shreya, Dr. Arushi, Rajkumar Das and Pushpa Kumari as departmental employees expressed their commendable performance during the camp.
