Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan on Sunday flagged off the Voter Awareness Vehicle Rally with the aim of making voters aware. He appealed to all the citizens to vote enthusiastically in the elections to be held on May 7 for the Bhopal Lok Sabha seat. He has urged all the voters of the state to exercise their franchise and also motivate their family members and neighbours to vote.
On this occasion, Bhopal Collector and District Election Officer Shri Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, CEO District Panchayat and Nodal Officer SVEEP Rituraj, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Harendra Narayan and other officials were present in the rally.
The voter awareness vehicle rally organized with the aim of increasing the voting percentage of Bhopal started from Lalghati intersection at 7:30 am. The rally reached Shaurya Smarak, Arera Hills via VIP Road, Gauhar Mahal, Jehangirabad.
The rally ended at the Shaurya Smarak. More than 2500 citizens including members of various biker groups and clubs participated in the rally and gave the message of voter awareness in the rally.
