District administration removed illegal encroachment from government land worth Rs 5 crore in Haripura Arjun Nagar village of Bhopal, encroachers have occupied 2 acres of land illegally for many years.
To remove this encroachment, district administration officers reached the spot with police and took action.
SDM Vinod Sonkia said, some people had illegally occupied government land in Haripura Arjun Nagar village of Huzur tehsil. Its market value is about Rs 5 crore.
On Thursday, a joint team of revenue, police, municipal corporation, and the forest department took action to remove illegal encroachment. During the action, kutcha and pucca constructions were demolished with the help of JCB. District administration officers reached the spot with police force. So, the encroachers cannot create any ruckus. Pucca constructions were also made on this land.
Meanwhile a survey is going on to make Bhopal beggar-free. The teams in the field under the leadership of all SDMs have been making profiles for 3 days. This includes profiles of children, women and men. Teams came to the field on Thursday and conducted a survey.
