Empowerment of girls under Srujan Abhiyan

Under the Community Policing Scheme, various efforts were made for the empowerment of girls under the Srujan Abhiyan being run for girls, in which they were given training in self-defense, knowledge of law and self-reliance and career guidance.

In the second phase, these girls will now be taken on a tour of the Regional Science Center and after observing things related to science, they will also be guided about careers related to science and technology. All the above work is being done under the Community Policing Scheme as part of efforts related to the empowerment and protection of girls and women.

On this occasion, the program was attended by the President of the program, Senior IAS Principal Secretary Food Rashmi Arun Shami, Additional CP Pankaj Srivastava, DIG Community Policing Dr. Vineet Kapoor and SBI Chief General Manager Chandrashekhar Sharma.

At the end of the program, the Chief General Manager presented a bus to the boys/girls of Srujan on behalf of SBI under Corporate Social Responsibility. Its work will be conducted through Parimal Sanstha.

Meanwhile for prevention of crimes against women in the city, women safety and awareness, Nagar and Gram Raksha Samiti are also being invited to make special efforts for women safety and girl safety and for the safety of women and girls, they should themselves oppose the crimes happening in the society and also inform the police immediately about the major incidents so that the police can take immediate action. This is being started as a campaign.

On the first day, action was taken regarding taking oath to work against violence against women, after which this training will be conducted in every zone. The said program will conclude on 2 October.

All Nagar Raksha Samitis have been given the target to train 500 Nagar Raksha Samiti members for prevention of violence against women. After the training, they will spread awareness about it in their respective areas, mohallas, settlements and residential areas and will inform the police about even the smallest incident coming to their notice and will invite the help of the police in it.
